  • May 30 - AgentPat at IMDb has been keeping taps on Equilibrium's DVD sales.  For more info and numbers see thread here...

  • May 29 - Pages 31-40 of the script are now uploaded.  They can be found here>>> 
  • May 28
    • UPDATE - Due to server/coding problems today the new pages of the script will be postponed until tomorrow.  Sorry!!
    • Working on 10 more pages of the script and will upload them later today...
  • May 27 - The screen captures from MrsPreston that were added to the Gallery last week have also been added to the various slide presentations around the site: 5 on the Libria, 1 on the Clerics page, and 6 on the Gun Kata page. page
  • May 26 - The third chapter of the fan fiction Taking Sides by Judas Austin has been completed.  It can be found here...
  • May 25 - Due to the fact that I have seen numerous questions about the film repeated not only on this site's message board but throughout the web, I have created a FAQ Page - Interrogation.
  • May 24 - Pages 21-30 of the script are now uploaded.  They can be found here>>> 
  • May 23
    • Reo has created a variation of the DVD cover art which omits the comparison to "The Matrix" and adds muzzle flashes.  It can be found at the bottom of the DVD page. (special thanks to him.)
    • The fact that the Cleric's firearm is a modified Beretta has been added to the "Trivia" on the Libria page.
  • May 22 - Due to the fact that traffic to the site has tripled since the DVD release there will be no update today so that I can work on optimizing my bandwidth.
  • May 21
    • 12 new screen captures from the UK trailer have been added to the Screen Captures Gallery. (Thanks to MrsPreston for creating them.)
    • Gunkatta.com is back on-line so I will be restoring the links throughout the day.
  • May 20 
    • Over the weekend Richard Roeper plugged Equilibrium during the Thumbs Up Video segment. A link to the audio for his comments can be found on the DVD page.
    • Due to several requests the past few days about the music used in the Victrola/Snow Globe segment, the fact that it is Ludwig Van Beethoven's 9th Symphony, First Movement has been added to the Libria page. It can be found under "Trivia."
  • May 19 - 10 more pages of the script (11-20) are now on the site.  They can be found here or through the Clerics page.
  • May 18 - rs_woods@cox.net has crafted 10 stunning and dramatic wallpapers.  Teaser images and links to their downloads can be found on the Backgrounds page. ( A special thanks to him.)
  • May 17 
  • May 16 - To Webmasters - If you wish to support EQ on your sites nouseforaname has a banner on his Taproot Fan Site that he has offered to allow anyone to use if they want to. (thanks again nouse!!)
  • May 15
    • 2nd installment of Taking Sides is now completed.
    • A picture of DuPont (Angus MacFadyen) has been added to the Libria page.
  • May 14
    • Links to action related discussions from the message board are now listed on the Gun Kata page.
    • Due to understocking, stores around the country are selling out of EQ's DVD (see threads on message board.)
    • EQ spent all of yesterday in the top 20 sellers at Amazon and currently remains there.
  • May 13 
    • The wait is over for US fans!!  The DVD hits the shelves today.  I'm off to buy my two copies, convert a friend, and bask in the commentaries.  Be back later....
    • Yesterday EQ's ranking at Amazon was spotted as high as #23.
  • May 12
    • A new image of Preston taken from the Official Japanese Site is now in the Screen Captures Gallery.
    • So as not to jeopardize my search engine standing all the links to Gunkatta.com have been inactivated for the time being until the site returns.
  • May 10 - A 3:39 minute audio teaser off of the DVD commentary track has been added to the DVD page.  Formats include wave as well as Real Player & Windows streaming media.  Since the file is large downloading may be slow.  (Special thanks to koalabear )
  • May 9 - The first installment of a new fan fiction by Judas Austin, Taking Sides, is now linked on the Sense Offense page.  More coming soon.
  • May 8 - The Canadian and UK variations of the DVD cover art have been added to the DVD page. (Thanks to Spider Al for the UK one and to BMaloney for pointing out the different Canadian release date - May 20)
  • May 7 - The first set of 10 pages from Equilibrium's screenplay (draft version) is now available.  Since this is a work in progress it will be completed over time.  You can find the first set from the Clerics page or go directly here>>>

    • Sci/Fi Dimensions has posted an excellent interview with Equilibrium's director and writer, Kurt Wimmer.  You can find it here>>> ... Then come discuss it on the message board.

  • Apr. 30 - A new section has been created on the site's DVD page that includes links to off site reviews, 2 DVD screen caps (one of Sean Bean - update 4/3, moved to Libria page), & a listing of DVD related Resitance discussions.
  • Apr. 29
    • I am pleased to announce a new fan fiction by David W. Huang, The Cleric.  Later today I will add it to the others on the Sense Offense page.  A special thanks to him for allowing me to incorporate it into the site and to create the graphics for it.
    • New EQ DVD review at IGN.  (Thanks to nouseforaname  for posting it on the Message Board)
  • Apr. 28 - A new DVD Review for Equilibrium has been posted by kingdaywalker on the Message Board.  Just under 15 days left!!
  • Apr. 27 - The two wallpapers created yesterday by r0yksopp have been included with the other Backgrounds  .  They a have also been added to links on the EC-10 and Sense Offense pages. (A special thanks to r0yksopp)
  • Apr. 26
    • r0yksopp has created a new wallpaper for Equilibrium and has posted it on the Message Board.  (thanks for sharing it!!)
    • Android is considering a reissue of the watch worn by the Clerics in EQ.  See Cleric Watch - Alien Android thread for more information.
  • Apr. 25 - 5 screen captures from the Japanese Site have been added throughout this site. 
  • Apr. 24 - Even though Cleric Coats are still not available as far as I know, abbyshot.com has stated that if enough requests are made they will consider making them.  For contact information see Equilibrium Items thread on the Message Board.
  • Apr. 23
    • Since EQ's DVD will only be available in widescreen a related poll, "Do you prefer widescreen or fullscreen?" has been added to the DVD page.
    • An excellent review for the DVD can be found at The Man Room.  A link to it has also been included on the DVD page. (Thanks to Kingdaywalker)
  • Apr. 22 - A link to Buena Vista Home Entertainment's page for Equilibrium has been added to the DVD  specs as well as information about its rating and close captioning.
  • Apr. 21 - By request I have created three Equilibrium themed Winamp skins.  They can be found on the EC-10 page.
  • Apr. 19 - The DVD specs have been added to the  DVD page.  I have also double checked and yes there will be two commentary tracks.
  • Apr. 18
    • I neglected to mention here on the front page that earlier this week nouseforaname gave us a look at EQ's video/DVD release poster on the Equilibrium Items thread.  Not surprisingly it is the same as the DVD cover.  I'm still looking for a source besides Ebay so I can add it to the list.  (thanks again Nouse!!)
    • Equilibrium continues to remain ranked at IMDb's "Top 50 Sci/Fi Movies."  With 1841 votes it currently stands at #36.
  • Apr. 17 - Wimmer's comments about the motorcycle flip and how it was accomplished without wire work has been added to the bottom of the Gun KataAtlanta Q&A thread. page.  It was originally posted in the 
  • Apr. 16 
    •  A Picture of Kurt Wimmer from the Atlanta ComiCon has been added to the Q&A thread on the message board.  (A very special thanks to John C. Snider, Editor of SciFiDimensions.com who has kindly allowed me to use it from his site.) 
    • Also note that the "Questions for Atlanta" thread title has been changed to "Atlanta Q&A"
  • Apr. 15 - The Japanese mini poster or flyer has been added to the Equilibrium Items listed on the message board.
  • Apr. 14 - Due to illness I have only added information about the Atlanta ComiCon on the message board.  The Q&A items with Wimmer can be found on the Questions for Atlanta thread & my musings on Hi From Atlanta...
  • Apr. 11 - Gone to Atlanta ComiCon...be back on Monday.
  • Apr. 10 - Four new images have been added to the slides on the Libria page.  The new ones have been placed just after the initial picture of Preston.  One is an image of Partridge (Sean Bean) who I've had a heck of a time finding any pictures of. ( A very special thanks to BMaloney!!) 
  • Apr. 9 - Due to the fact that the site now has 10 background wallpapers to chose from, a page has been created especially for the growing collection.  Instead of showing images of each on the EC-10 page, a link, "Background Gallery", has now been added to it as well as a text listing of each.
  • Apr. 8 - Since I'm finalizing all the loose ends for my trip to Atlanta, today will be the last day to submit questions.  If there is something you are just dying to ask Wimmer post it on the message board here>>>
  • Apr. 7 - Two new computer wallpapers have been created using images from the Japanese movie program for Equilibrium.  Note that the title of the film there is Rebellion.  Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have them with the other backgrounds on the EC-10 page.  Wallpaper #1 (above) ...Wallpaper #2 (right)

    • Due to the fact that I found Equilibrium's script yesterday to purchase, I have added a thread on the message board that covers EQ related items to buy, questions, and/or things that are not currently available.  You can find the thread here>>>
  • Apr. 5 - A link to CHUD's EQ article posted yesterday has been added to the Clerics page.
  • Apr. 4 
    • Two images of Japanese items have been added to the Official EQ Japanese Site - Rebellion thread on the message board.  One is a mini poster or flyer and the other is a movie program.  I plan to add these later to the main site when I figure out how to organize it.
    • Unfortunately due to a change in the release date for CHUD's new magazine, an article about Equilibrium fell to the block.  Fortunately though Nick has kindly allowed it not to be lost by posting it at his site.  You can find it here>>>   (thanks to Nick Nunziata)
  • Apr. 3 - Equilibrium opened over the weekend in Japan as Rebellion.  Last night I found the snazzy Official Site for the film there but DAMN IT...I can't read a thing.  Check out the trailer which is a slight variation of the USA version...here>>>
  • Apr. 2 - Yesterday a request was made about the different fonts used on the Equilibrium posters and DVD.  To download similar fonts or add more information see Equilibrium Font?? discussion. (Thanks to Matt Goldberg for information)

    • The EQ Calendar thread has been updated and now includes DVD/VHS & international theatrical release dates.
    • A thread has been created on the message board for Reviews.  Please feel free to leave your own thoughts on the film as well as links to any reviews you've enjoyed
